Our childcare staff:
take the welfare of children seriously

have good standard of references
are interviewed face to face.

We pride ourselves on our professional and personal service to our clients and candidates. Our candidates are childcare professionals and are therefore, appropriately qualified, trained and experienced in childcare to give parents valuable peace of mind.

Au Pair Services

Staff Support offer a fully managed agency matching service where we find interviewed and reference checked au pairs for families. Our au pairs are rigorously pre-screened and vetted complete with Police Checks and references to ensure peace of mind for our clients.

We have a good understanding of both the needs of Family and Au pair. We put forward to families highly motivated  and capable Au Pairs who genuinely enjoy being around children.

We work hard to provide suitable applicants to meet the needs of the family and provide free ongoing support and advice to both families and au-pairs.

Nannies

The role of the nanny is to essentially be responsible for all care of the children in the home. A nanny normally had relevant training however, he or she may be classed as a Nanny without training if they have had over two years experience of sole charge caring for children.

A nanny’s responsibilities include everything that relates to the care of the children in their charge. This can include preparing meals for the children, clothing them, providing mental stimulation for them and doing laundry for the children.

Rates Of Pay: £6.50 - £8.50 per hour (Gross).

Emergency Childcare

We are happy to provide childcare solutions for your childcare emergencies. Whether your regular childcare provider is not available to provide childcare or you need a quick cover in an emergency. Our skilled carers are happy to step in and save the situation.

Mother's Help

A mother's help is usually not qualified in child care.

The carer will have at least 2 years relevant child care experience but generally do not hold child care qualifications.
The mother's help duties are to assist the mother/father with the children and generally help around the house. It is not expected that they are in sole charge of the children.

live-in mother's help will expect to have his/her own room with usually a TV provided. He/she should have 2 days off per week, normally taken at week-ends and have most evenings free.

If a mother's help lives out, he/she will normally work a 5 day week from Monday to Friday. A daily mother's help will not expect to do any evening baby-sitting unless this is agreed beforehand and is paid as an extra.

Rates Of Pay: £6.50 - £7.50 per hour (Gross).
